History
ClaroVision Ltd was created in January 2006 by Roman Hnatiuk (now Chairman and CTO) and Francisco Gregorio (now Director Sales and Marketing). ClaroVision’s small team has accumulated more than 90 years of industry and market experience: you will find Nokia, Guestlink, Otrum, and Finlux, all leading in their fields at their time, in our CVs. The board is strengthened by two ex-Nokia Home Communications’ senior executives.

From the first day ClaroVision team has been developing the concept of ClaroVision.NET – an all-in-one TV-based entertainment solution for the living room.

In May 2007 we finalized the seed financing round consisting of both private and public equity and loans from Veraventure, Markku Juslin (business angel), and Tekes. This financing allowed us to start full scale development activities, and our product has reached the Beta milestone in April 2009.

In May 2009 ClaroVision was among the seven companies that have made it to the Venture Cup Open Final, a business plan competition with 1,000,000 € funding package from Tekes as a main prize.
